Justin Bumper Reeve started the company simply as a passionate hobby and side hustle, working with then-unknown artists, Gotye and The Temper Trap, and fully resurrected it in April 2011, after departing indie label Dangerbird Records, where he was Head of Licensing for Film, Television, Advertising and Video Games for over three years, representing all the artists on the label and its publishing and management arms. Prior to joining the label in February 2008, he was at Revolution Studios for almost 6 years, where he music supervised and coordinated over 25 films and soundtracks, including the platinum–selling Grammy–nominated soundtrack, Across The Universe. Justin also held posts at Propaganda Films, IFILM and A Band Apart/Miramax Films, where he assisted director Quentin Tarantino and producer Lawrence Bender on such films as Jackie Brown and Good Will Hunting. He started his career in entertainment as an intern for Robert Redford.
